Oliver Twist was born in a workhouse and Oliver's mom died when she gave birth. When Oliver was nine years old he was sold to the local under-taker, the undertaker liked Oliver. Oliver was sold for five pounds.
Oliver walked to London and met a guy who was called Arthful Dodger. Arthful Dodger said that he knew a man who could help Oliver.
The guy gave Oliver a meal and gave him a place to sleep. Arthful Dodger and Charley stealing a pocket from a guy who are reading an old book. It ends up with Oliver getting caught and is taken to court. A guy knew that Oliver was a nice guy, Oliver wasn't a stealer. They would rob a house, the guy in the house was rich and the window was to small for the other guys so Oliver was forced to do it.
